My 2000 260 skid steer parking brake won't release and the boom won't raise. The left pedal will not unlock however the right one does, allowing the bucket to operate when the motor is running. When I try to go forward or in reverse, it seems to want to move, but it is like something is holding it . We went to go start it up today and move it and the parking brake light wont go off. the skid steer will move but parking brake is on and wont go off. the seat belt light goes off. we took the switch assebly off and put electric grease on it but it did nothing. any other ideas? hate to replace the switch and that not be it, but might be it? The parking brake solenoid has no diagnostics for checking for faults in the system. The solenoid will NOT be energized when there is an open circuit or a short to ground.
