I bought my John Deere 170 a few months ago for 00. Not running, sitting in the weeds for a few years. Since then I've rewired it, installed a new solenoid, new coil, rebuilt the carb, new fuel lines and filter, new fuel . Just replaced the drive belt on the 170, I did not go to deere to get it but was . I have a John Deere 170 skid loader. It runs good except now there is oil dripping .

This is causing hydrolic oil to get on the drive belt and then the drive belt slips. I need some advice. While looking for a bobcat a friend recommended a friend of his and I was offered an immaculate JD 170 skid steer for 00 and I wondered if it was a good offer. The rims and tires look new, the paint is original and barely chipped, and it is essentially from the 1st owner with manual, forks, weights, bucket, bill of sales .
