Hello All! I recently heroically saved a 1970 IH 3200a Skid Steer from a salvage yard before it hit the crusher. The machine came non-running and was missing a few parts. However, it did come with a backhoe 3 point attachment. I believe it is a 3082. My cost, including transport was 00. I was out looking on the forums and seen someone say Hydra-Mac made IH Skid Steers in the late 70s and early 80s, CaseIH bought the factory out and closed it down late 90's - 2000's.
I have never seen a hydra Mac or a 3200, but every other skid I have seen in the last 30 years ( with the exception of the Bobcat 310) has been set up with two traction pumps running in tandem, one for each side. Many, if not most, were built by Vickers. In all cases (mine, that is) the pumps have been SAE two-bolt flange and standard spline shaft.
We have a International 3200A skid steer that has been in the family for 20+ years. But when you are running it hard, after awhile It seems I loose hydraulic pressure in the left drive mostly while trying to go in reverse.
