I am looking for a source of a set of Good Quality Pallet Forks for my skid steer ( CAT 287B). I am thinking of at least 4000 lbs capacity . Can anyone recommend any good suppliers or brands ? Got the 36" forks from a flea market and built the frame. Work just fine, except they're too short. I move all my firewood via pallets, and the way I modify the pallets, I need to fork them longways, instead of the std 42" side-to-side method.

My strongest recommendation is to go with a dedicated set of the SSQA forks, and not the clamp on bucket forks. I started off trying to be cheap with the clamp on forks, even though my dealer, and many good folks on TBN tried to talk me out of it.
Are the hydraulic positioning forks ( the type that adjust the fork's spacing) worth the extra money? Can anyone recommend a quality brand and size of forks to match the machine and a good dealer? Thanks I'm looking for pallet forks for my bobcat. Can anyone recommend good ones? Are the ones on EBay any good?
Are all skid steer forks created equal? I have a 0 quote for 42" Bobcat forks, 0 for John Deere forks, and 0 for CAT forks. Are CAT forks worth the extra money?
The Frontier AP10F is nice (and close in weight to the Artillian) but again, are a few hundred more than the Titan - but also not readily available locally - at least not according to the dealer. I would love to get the HLAs, but after shipping, you're right up there with Artillian..
