I bought my first piece of equipment a few weeks ago, a 2000 CASE 1845c w/2800 hours. I researched plenty and found this model is well liked, reliable and are easy to work on. So far I have rebuilt all control linkages with oilite bronze bushings I modified on my lathe. Update did some looking on Google and found this YOUTUBE showing an 1840 with the cab completely off. If you can follow the guys description of how it moves you maybe able to figure yours out.
