On the 1845c and 1840 then cab actually rolls forward which requires a little more than the later models that just tip. You have to undo the loader vale linkage, aux. vale linkage, throttle, forward reverse linkage, unplug the harness and then 4 bolts, and the bake linkage, I think that's about it. The starter motor on this CASE 1840 isn't turning over - it just clicks. In order to gain access to the starter, the manual says to raise the arms, lock them, then slide the cab forward.
