The new plate fits on the bucket just fine, but when I go to back drag the pins will pop up and out of the notches. Has anyone ever had this happen before? Its almost like it needs more spring pressure to hold the pins down in???

Suddenly the buckets on my skid steer just fall off if any down pressure is applied. Been working fine up until yesterday. Buckets are pretty new so dont think they are worn. I was working with my skid steer today when the tool fell off of the front mount. Luckily it missed me but sure did get my attention. I checked and all of the levers that are used to hold it on were in the right place, and I had been using the . New to me 1840 skid steer. The bucket falls off when leveling gravel by raking it backwards. The forks fall off too when applying an upward force on the tip of the forks. I also have a different 1840 with a different type of coupler that . I have a brand new hydraulic pallet fork frame from Titan Attachments. I have used it on a Cat 247B and a Bobcat CT2035. It falls off of both machines. There appears to be way to much vertical space at the attachment point. With the slightest amount of down force (as simple as resting in a parking lot) the forks can spring off.
