I have a 10,000# skidder I haul on a 4,000# tilt bed deck over. How it tows depends a lot on which truck it is behind. The 2500HD regular cab long bed tows poorly. Either of my seat and a half long bed 2500HD tows the skidder very well. Yes, they burn a lot of gas, but not enough to put up with the lack of reliability and high cost of a diesel. Just purchased a used 2020 333g with 820 hrs from a local dealer. Serial number: 1T0333GMJKF367897 I also purchased a brand new Fecon 7618 mulcher. It was delivered to my property yesterday morning and I got to work. It was 28 degrees and within 30 minutes of running at full RPM I got an overheat alarm and required me to shut down.
