Machine will not show the camera icon on the display. I have power to the camera, no visible abrasions in the wire, fuse is good. I reset the display, holding the outer two buttons for 5 seconds, no change in status. This happens when the machine warms up to it’s operating temperature in the summer. I swept snow for hours with no problem last winter. Last summer the machine was kept by the dealership for 2 months to replace a 0 manifold and the camera issue was not the focus, but it happened then too. There’s only 555 hours on the machine.
It is nice when you back inside a building it seems to add light and works better than a mirror. Higher priced ones may have a better camera but for me it works fine and has a 5 x7 or so display. Plus in the summer I can pull it out and put .
I drove several new style skid steers in the last year and choose to purchase a Bobcat t630 that had one of the easiest rear views of them all. Now I am thinking of putting a backup camera or [rear view] in it. Just cant see what would be wrong with preventing my neck from hurting at the end of the day. Any thoughts on the subject? Mounted the camera with windshield tape (super sticky stuff) so it avoids transferring all the vibrations and shock, and if a limb pokes in the magic spot - it would simply push the camera inwards with probably no harm done. I simply tap into the back up alarm system for the camera to get power when in reverse. Did you come up with a solution? I have a 333G with only 50 hours and out of warranty. Deere said it needs a software update as well. Update performed and then no video next day. Now they want 1 for the crappy camera AT466877 to be replaced.
