Dear REPO I am also a new member and I am in the middle of installing a John Deere 46 backhoe subframe under a Kubota. the hydraulics will be powered by the kubotas mid PTO when on the tractor and the backhoe will be unbolted from the subframe and rebolted to .
It is only about 15' wide but is impossible to take a tractor in there where as the mini would walk thru there easily. I would think a root rake on the mini would work well to reach around the bigger trees as well as tight to the ditch and fence and pull the brush and roots. If I could couple the root rake with thumb it would be a great system. I have a mini-excavator that is all open and I'd love to build a cab for it. The ROPS make for the perfect support structure, I would just need to fabricate the walls and door. I can get all the sheet metal/hardware I would need, the big question I have is anyone know where I would be able to buy windows and window molding?? thanks in advance. I want to build a flail mower to add to the excavator attachment I知 planning to be able to reach up and down banks along the driveway. Looking for suggestions on lightweight Flail designs. It seems to have a problem with strength-of-hydraulics, most especially in the treads. It started out super herky-jerky powerful like it wanted to buck you off, and now after about 6 hours of use, it barely wants to move its own treads on a flat surface even at 3/4 or full throttle.
