The manual says to use: "Tractor hydraulic fluid, similar to Phillips 66 HG, Mobilfluid 423, Chevron Tractor Hydraulic Fluid, Texaco TDH Oil, or equivalent" I talked to ditch witch today and the msrp for each machine was roughly. Sk600-21k Sk800-25k Sk1050-34k Sk1550-39k They also said they put a weight kit on the 1550 and got it lifting 2000# at 35% tipping capacity. The 1550 is too big for landscapers imo. The new Ditch Witch 1050 is basically an 850 with the weight kit built in. Basically has the same lifting capacity as the Dingo you are considering. If I have a passenger ride with me on my 850 we can lift a full pallet of Vera-Lok standards it.
Undercarriage goes to Ditch Witch. I like grease-able pressure and the open design. Engine - both had 25 horse kubota's but the DW didnt bog down much at all.
