It first started with the arm bar light staying on and the park brake light staying on even when I turned them off. Sometimes it works fine sometimes it wont move at all and you cant move the bucket controls. I checked for bad connections and broken wires and found nothing.

This turned out to be a hugely dangerous mistake when I nearly lost my arm a month ago by accidentally leaning on joystick when my arm was under the skid steer arms, but that is another story. Anyway, machine has worked fine, but then in order to operate grapples I was always having to start machine, and then hit the park brake button before .

my Cat 226 had simular problem when i figured out the plastic flex plate that conects the pump to the engine striped out there is a coupler that goes on the shaft of the pump that the bolt backed off on and caused it to slide forward on the shaft and eventualy striped out the flex plate thats not made of much but was 400$.i used a ratchet strap .
