hello to all. i was just wondering, i have been bobcat shopping for about 2 weeks now and i have looked at a lot of machines. my question is,, is there a blue book for skid steers like there is for automobiles? the machines i have looked at have different prices with various hours, and some in not so good shape for the same prices. i have . The joys of old tech steel lines inside of a tight skid steer frame. Fuel pump & lines tucked in behind out of sight made for some choice words. Pulled turbo to intake plenum. Pulled #3&4 valve covers and then #1 & 2 since I was at it. Pulled & Tested injectors. My my. the things we find!!!!! 4 injectors. 3 different brands. Hi I have an 04' CAT 236b Last night during storm and extreme cold the throttle was stuck so you had to use your foot to loosen it up on the pedal. Hopefully this will resolve itself on its own after some warmth??? Main problem was that while under full throttle it was blowing blueish smoke, not. Skid Steer Supporter. Then occasionally it misses and puts out a puff of blue smoke, until completely warmed up in about 5 to 10 minutes. Later starts during the day seem normal (starts up immediately with no blue smoke). couple things to check: (1) are you making oil ( fuel injector stuck open pour fuel in combustion chamber washing dow the cylinder past the rings into the oil pan) check and see if oil is over filled by alot.
