It's very difficult to diagnose electrical problems without a schematic. I get calls for this type of stuff all the time during my busy season. On a John Deere 250, things that come to mind that are energized with keyed power are the fuel pump and the .I have a 2001 John Deere 250 skid steer. The park brake won't disengage. The seat belt, park switch and seat sensors check out fine. The instrument panel shows it is getting signal to solenoid and it's working too. Someone told me to check to see if the actuator was working but not sure where it is located.Customer: Hi I have a john deere 250 series 2 skid steer, park lock locked and would not unlock. instrument cluster went bad, I have changed 1 solenoid on the boom lock and new instrument cluster, new key switch and park brake switch.
