I have heard great things from Cat owners about their track machines so I like to give one a try. The Deere was the first one I had a chance to use and so far i like it more then the tire skid steers. Engine starts up on this machine and runs out very well. Hydraulic power is great! Hemi, I have been using Cat 287's, 277's, and 257's since day one. What i like about them is the visability from the cab unlike the Mustang's or the Takuechi's where it is rather hard to see the edge of the bucket.
