I have an old Bobcat skid steer I'm working on but it's currently not running. I need to move it this week and I wondered if I can pull it with my tractor without damaging anything. I should only have to move it 50 feet or so. Is there anything I need to do first or can I just hook to it and pull it slowly. Thanks for any input. Need to pull a four-cylinder or smaller engine? Can’t get access to a 3-ton overhead hoist on a power trolley? Here are some ideas we’ve come across to help pull your engine.
Best thing to do would be to slowly pull it on to a trailer and bring it to the shop. I am not guaranteeing any of this advice. Maybe the dealer would know the limits on pulling it around. If you have access to a payloader you could lift it onto the trailer with that.
